New Concepts:
ST. AUGUSTINE – The team behind The Floridian, one of St. Augustine’s most beloved restaurants, has announced the launch of two new culinary ventures.
Owners Genie and Jeff McNally made the decision while The Floridian is temporarily closed for construction. Rather than take a break, they’ve chosen to bring two long-imagined ideas to life on a smaller scale. They are introducing Bea’s Fine Foods + All Day Café and Jefe’s Fish Wagon.
“Jeff and I had all of these fun ideas that didn’t quite fit into The Floridian, but we couldn’t let them go,” said Genie McNally, co-owner and executive chef. “That’s how Bea’s and Jefe’s were born. It’s going to be a really fun way for us to experiment with new ingredients and flavor profiles on a more intimate scale.”
Bea’s Fine Foods + All Day Café, located at 9 Anastasia Boulevard, is what the McNallys call The Floridian’s “little sister.” Named after Genie’s grandmother, Bea’s will offer breakfast, lunch, coffee and natural wines. As well as a Supper Club experience featuring small plates, cast-iron pizzas and low-ABV cocktails.
Down the road, Jefe's Fish Wagon will serve individualized handhelds and bowls inspired by tropical snack bars and backroad fish camps from a customized food truck parked at Hornski's Brewing Co.
Both new concepts are expected to open Summer 2025. For menus, photos, and updates, visit thefloridianstaug.com. Follow along on Instagram @beas_finefoods and @jefesfishwagon.
