UF Health Durbin Park is open- a brand new, full service hospital right here in our community. And as someone who covered the ribbon cutting and got a full tour of the building, we can tell you: it's the real deal.

UF Health Durbin Park is a full service hospital- not just an ER, not an urgent care, not a micro hospital. A brand new, state of the art hospital. Which means it's equipped to handle the kind of care that previously would have sent St. Johns families driving 30+ minutes to find.
It's located in the heart of Durbin Park, one of the fastest growing communities in Florida. And it was built specifically for the growth happening here.
What Services Are Available?
Based on what we saw during our tour and opening week, here's what families can access:
• Emergency Services- a full emergency department staffed 24/7
• Inpatient Hospital Care- patient rooms for those who need to be admitted
• Surgical Services- OR suites for planned and emergency procedures
• Imaging and Diagnostics- on site radiology, lab, and more
UF Health Durbin Park truly feels different, and we mean that in the best way.
The lobby doesn't feel like a hospital. The patient rooms have natural light and actual design thought put into them. The staff we met during the ribbon cutting were warm and clearly proud of what they're opening.
St. Johns County has been underserved medically for a long time relative to its population. This feels like a real response to that.
